Branch was created by a small web firm called Aptuitiv located in Farmington, Maine.
We believe that a website should be more than a marketing or sales tool. It should also help to streamline and improve your day-to-day business activities. One way that we accomplish this is by giving you as much control over the content of your website as you want. This enables you to make changes and update your website on your schedule, not ours.

When we first started building our CMS 6 years ago it was because we couldn't find one that we liked or was flexible enough for our clients' website.
We started out building software to scratch our own itch. Eventually it caught on an other companies wanted to use it for their clients.
